Zen Writing Practice

The primary tool of a writer is the writing mind. In Zen Writing Practice we alternate between sitting meditation, mindful walking and writing meditation. By combining Zen practice with writing, we can reach deep into our creative minds and then, write from the source.

Memoir, fiction and poetry live within all of us - we just have to find it and let it flow through our pens. Anyone who wants to combine a meditation practice with a writing practice would get a good start with Zen Writing Practice. No experience needed.

We All Have Talent

Natalie Goldberg after signing Kuya's rasksu to affirm
Kuya's Readiness to teach Zen Writing Practice

"Talent is something like a water table under the earth. You tap into it with your effort and it flows through you. It's energy. I see many, many students who can naturally write. You can't believe it. The first time they pick up a pen, people's mouths are hanging open." Natalie Goldberg
